About Us
The Dragon City Ink Tattoo & Piercing studio, has been established in April 2021 in the heart of the tourists and expats area (An Thuong) of Đà Nẵng. Yes, we started right in the middle of the worst pandemic of the last century.
Despite the odds, restrictions and lockdowns, we have always been full of enthusiasm and we just kept building our dream tattoo parlor into what it is today. Most important, we gradually started producing the first few tattoos for our fearless customers, eager to ink a timeless memory of their time in Vietnam.
The main idea behind Dragon City Ink has always been to deliver the best possible tattoos, in Danang thanks to a professional and selected team of Vietnamese and international Tattoo Artists. We strive to use the best possible and safest tattoo equipment on the market and we directly import many of our products (like inks) from the world best manufactures.
We speak English, Vietnamese, Italian, Russian and even Dutch!
How Did We Get Here?
The concept of the tattoo studio started with Alex Van Dutch, a lifelong enthusiast of the beautiful art of tattooing. In 2010 Alex founded World Tattoo Events, which went on to become the biggest online platform for tattoo conventions. Since then Alex has been travelling and attending conventions all over the world, building a wealth of knowledge about the art of tattooing in almost every possible aspect. During those travels, Alex has also been an estimated Judge at over 40 tattoo contests in Italy, Holland, Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Philippines and more, being constantly exposed to all the latest developments in tattooing.
In 2014 Alex visited Vietnam for the first time and he felt in love with his current wife Noriko and this beautiful country. In 2019, after years of travelling, Alex and Noriko decided to settle in Danang and open a high quality tattoo studio as a place where to bring together all their experience in the tattoo world. After a very long search for the right location, this finally became a reality in 2021, when they finally found the current location at An Thuong 32 in order to open Dragon City Ink.
Since then we have been working with hundreds of customers to give them their dream tattoo and beautiful new memory.
As you can see Dragon City Ink is simply the result of a lifetime passion about the beautiful art of tattooing.
